I recently went to a food sustainability event that instead of focusing ways to making organic/ unprocessed/non-gmo food more available it became all about the O word.
I'm someone who liked to be more sustainable but I find that the environmental movement tends to stigmatize and marginalize fat people. It's hard for me to listen to a lecture/ read a book/ watch a movie that villianizes or victimizes me. (I am not supporting Monsanto nor am I a poor person who doesn't know better.)
So I started this blog which is about my journey (and advice) on using less resources, creating less garbage, preserving land, curbing sprawl and blight, eating well (without dieting) and of incorporating anyone who wants to change regardless of who they are.
I won't be updating this blog as much as fat chicks rule. Just some personal stories as I help restore the fat of the land.
